Terms of Service

Rules for using the Strava community.

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Strava, including our cosplay short video app, creator features, content feeds, and related support services. By using Strava, you agree to these terms.

Effective date: May 20, 2026 Contact: support@strava.com

1. Eligibility and Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to use Strava only in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms of Service.

2. Community and Content Standards

Strava is built for cosplay creators and fans to share costume reveals, character looks, outfit details, and short videos. You agree not to post, upload, or share content that:

  • Is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, harassing, fraudulent, or harmful.
  • Infringes or violates another party's intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
  • Contains malware, spam, deceptive promotions, or attempts to interfere with the service.
  • Sexually exploits minors or otherwise endangers children.
  • Promotes violence, hate, or other conduct that may create safety risks for the community.

3. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you create and upload, subject to any rights you grant through use of the service. By posting content on Strava, you represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to share that content and allow it to be displayed, distributed, and made available within the app.

4. Moderation and Enforcement

We may review, remove, restrict, or disable content or accounts that we reasonably believe violate these terms, infringe rights, create legal exposure, or threaten the safety or integrity of the community.

Violation of these terms may result in content removal, feature restrictions, account suspension, or account termination.

5. Intellectual Property

Strava, including its branding, software, design, and service materials, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except as allowed by law or by us in writing, you may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or exploit the service or its materials beyond permitted personal use.

6. Third-Party Services

The service may contain links to or integrations with third-party services, tools, or platforms. We are not responsible for third-party content, products, or practices.

7. Service Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the service at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, specific feature availability, or that the service will always be error-free.

8. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Strava is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to your use of the service.

10. Termination

You may stop using Strava at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the service if you violate these terms, create risk for users or the platform, or where required for legal or operational reasons.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date on this page. Your continued use of Strava after the updated terms take effect means the revised terms apply.
